Modeling and Mocktail Fashion Party

On October 12, 2012, Chris Sperling of Walgreen's, in conjunction with Fashion Week New Orleans hosted the 2nd Annual Modeling and Makeover Mocktail event at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. This event was created in honor of Lamika Downs, who dreamed of becoming a model throughout her battle with brain cancer. The fashion party gave young cancer patients a chance to become top models for a day! Some of New Orleans’ most talented models were on-hand to guide our young fashionistas down the runway. They received red carpet treatment, including makeup, nails, designer gowns and one-on-one posing lessons! The event was a huge success and we look forward to seeing next year’s models strut their stuff on the catwalk! Thanks again to all who contributed to making this day special: Walgreens, Fashion Week New Orleans, Wink Event Planning, Liberty’s Kitchen, Images by Robert T., Dyle Films and Sperling Photography!

Boutique Day

A beautiful boutique is set up at the hospital for girls to pick out ball gowns, schedule hair & makeup appointments and enjoy a little social time! It's a great day!

Holiday Party

The kids of Children's Hospital are treated to a very special holiday event featuring pictures with Santa, fun crafts, healthy snacks, Saints players, Christmas Carolers, readings from local authors, and much more!
Our Projects
Prom Night

The night starts out with everyone arriving in limousines and being announced on the red carpet. Saints players and other local celebrities are there to greet them as they enter the prom. From there the night is filled with dancing, singing, pictures, food and quite possibly the biggest candy table ever!
This event would not be possible without all of the donations and time that we receive from our sponsors. A very big thank you goes out to G. Smith Motorsports.
